Find

Enter the name or ID of the airport, navaid, point you are looking for. You can then either press the Go to button or simply double-click on the item you want to be taken to. Courseplanner will then automatically zoom to that location.

By default, Courseplanner will match part of the ID/Name, but you can refine the search.

• Match Case: If checked the search will be case sensitive.
• ID: This will limit the search to IDs, (or part thereof).
• Name: This will limit the search to the names, (or part thereof).
• Airports, Helipads, Nav-aids ...: You can select the type of data to search for.

NB: If the current page selected doe not have a map, Courseplanner will select the nearest available map and zoom to that item.

Zoom

When selection an item, (either by double clicking or pressing the Go to button), you can coose the zoom.

• Unchanged: Will keep the current view zoom.
• Close, Default or Far: Will set the appropriate zoom when moving the view to the selected item.

Special cases

In some cases, (for example flight planner), the same dialog box is used to enable you to choose a specific type. In those cases the types that are not available will be disabled.
