Courseplanner Move Aircraft

If Flight simulator is running you can select this option to move the aircraft to an exact location anywhere in the world.

Move the aircraft to any location on the map
  • Latitude N/S - Set the latitude[1] and longitude[2].
  • Latitude E/W
  • Heading (degree) - Set the aircraft heading in degrees, (between 0-360).
  • Aircraft is on the ground? - If you check that value the aircraft will be on the ground and you will not be able to set the speed, pitch, bank and airspeed.
  • Altitude (feet) - Set your aircraft altitude.
  • Pitch (degrees) - Set the pitch and bank of the aircraft[3].
  • Bank (degrees) -
  • Airspeed (knots) - Set the aircraft speed.
  • Pause aircraft - Pause the aircraft after moving it to the new location.

Note that is none of the options are valid, (speed or altitude for example), the aircraft will be moved to the nearest valid location.


Using your Mouse

Click anywhere on the screen to move the aircraft to a certain location

You can also , left-click anywhere on the map and to see the Move Aircraft To... context menu.

This will pre-select your latitude and longitude and you can then enter the other values before moving the aircraft to the new location.
