General
- Automatically 'Flyto' after loading a flightplan. - when you create or load flight plan you might not want to directly fly the plan. Courseplanner will take over the controls as soon as your wheel leave the ground.
Un-check this option if you do not want flight planning automatically turned on by default.
You can turn flight planning on/off at any time using your the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+X
- Show flight plan on main map. - By default the flight plan is only displayed on the flight plan tab. But you can select to have it on any other maps as well by checking this option.
- Min straight take-off altitude. - Set the minimum altitude before the aircraft can turn toward the next waypoint.
- Min straight landing altitude. - Set the minimum altitude when the aircraft should be lined up on final.
- When selecting a waypoint, automatically zoom in.
- Show the range of the selected waypoint - when available, courseplanner will display the radio range.
- Go to the next waypoint on click - on the flight plan tab, when you click on a waypoint in the list the map will center on that waypoint.
- Aircraft target end point - Show a dotted line toward the waypoint that the aircraft is aiming for.
- Display distance between waypoints.
- Display heading between waypoints.
- Display true course - On the flight plan page, the printed plan and so on, display Magnetic course or true course.
- Do not escape XML in FSX flightplans. - Certain 3rd party application cannot read standard XML code, check this option to make it easier for them to load FSX flight plans created by Courseplanner.
Aircraft
Select the default aircraft to use when creating a flight plan.
If you are loading a plan with no aircrafts then the default will be used.
