The latest version of Courseplanner, (as well a beta versions), are available on the main website[1].

Versions 4.1
Version 4.1.x.y - (Coming soon).
- Added: User can now ctrl+click to centre the map on the pointer position (Bug:#32).
- Added: Option, (set true by default), to always load the data, regardless if you want to show the data or not, ([[Courseplanner_Options_Display|Options >Display]).
- Added: If the flight plan cannot be created, an error message is given.
- Added: More log messages in flight planner section.
- Added: Option to set/change the fonts, (options >Display >Font) (Bug:#22).

- Change: Flightplan/Fligthplan details tabs, when you right click on a waypoint only the frequencies of that waypoint are shown.
- Change: Magnetic heading is displayed on flight plan, map, (option to show true course is available) (Bug:#40).
- Change: If the user has the option to display the flight plan on the 'main' map then Courseplanner will centre on that plan for the main page, (similar to the waypoint page) (Bug:#39).
- Change: Double click on a waypoint, (in the waypoint list), will take you to tat waypoint (Bug:#27).
- Change: When left click, (with or without Shift key press),The distance is always shown(Bug:#28).
- When the user holds the shift key down, the dotted 'area' box is no longer drawn(Bug:#28).
- Change: If you create/edit a GPS point the system will make sure that GPS points are visible (Bug:#20).
- Change: By default, the search option is not case sensitive (Bug:#19).
- Change: When opening a .pln file as a 'courseplanner' file type, the system now checks the current default version of FS rather than assuming FSX (Bug:#11).
- Change: Declutter has been added to the main map (Bug:#4).
- Change: When pressing 'apply' or 'ok' in the options dialog, the entire page is disabled to prevent the user making changes while threads are running.
- Change: When using the mouse the behaviour is more consistent, (over the map zoom in/out, over list control move up/down).
- Change: Using the mouse wheel no longer changes the waypoint (Bug:#2).
- Change: Option to go to the selected waypoint on single click.
- Change: When showing the flightplan on the map the 'line' between waypoints would cross the distance/heading information box.
- Change: Re-wrote the print/preview internal engine.
- Change: You can now scroll up/down the flight plan list and the selection will change.

- Reformatted the flight plan print/preview page (Bug:#41).
- Fix: In certain particular cases, (airports with multiple runways for example) would cause Courseplanner to crash.(Bug:#53)
- Fix: Selecting to load a non existent User navaid db would cause Courseplanner to load the wrong airport database.
- Fix: The log tab was logging system messages, (as a blank line).
- Fix: Flight plan - the heading to/from was always showing 0.
- Fix: The 'busy' icon did not use to centre properly on a multiple screen display (Bug:#34).
- Fix: The database import:
- Was not reading all the Navaids ranges properly.
- Was not loading VORs properly.
- Was not loading airports altitudes properly, (by x1000ft).
- Fix: if there was an error in aircraft import, the error message box would be hidden behind the running thread gif file.
- Fix: Crash when loading a flight plan -> changing db, (from default to user).
- Fix: Various memory leaks introduced with switching dbs on the fly.
- Fix: Changing an option on more than once option page could cause the same data to be loaded more than once (Bug:#12).
- Fix: Closing courseplanner when minimized would cause the app to hang (Bug:#25).
- Fix: The Options Apply button would not always reset even when all the data us saved (Bug:#23).
- Fix: Left click (with or without shift key), was not displaying the right distance/information (Bug:#31).
- Fix: When Flight Simulator X is re-started while courseplanner is running, the new instance would not be picked up by Courseplanner.
- Fix: The print preview dialog box was not closing when pressing the 'red cross' on the top left corner of the window.
- Fix: The db app was reading the wrong FSX scenery.cfg file.
- Fix: Automatic waypoints, (Top of climb, Start of descent, ...), did not have a valid ID when created (Bug:#44).
- Fix: CourseplannerDB.exe and FSConnectorDll04.dll had the wrong version information, (v1.0.0.1), this caused the setup to never install the new version as the number never changed.
- Fix: FS2004/9 flight plans were not working as expected in the case of N/W as -ve number were been used as well as N/W.
- Fix: Hide AI tool bar option was working in reverse, (checked when option was off).
- Fix: Flight plan double click was not always working.
- Fix: Single click/selection change would not show range when the option to go to the waypoint was not set.
- Fix: Printed page was always showing true course even if the option is set to show magnetic course.
- Fix: About box was not showing the correct copyright year.
Version 4.1.0.2 - June 03, 2009.
- Added: you can now create a 'user' database from FSX or FS9.
- Added: .NET version(s) installed to crash report.
- Added: More messages to crash report in/out functions.
- Added: 'System' log to help with basic Courseplanner misbehaviour.
- Added: Shift+Numpad+/- to Zoom in/out only 15%[2].
- Change: Flight plan page, headings are now rounded[3].

- Change: Loading navaids/airport _after_ loading a flight plan updates the flight plan with the new values.
- Change: Airports are 'Expanded' one at a time, (no longer uses multi core functionality), this will be re-added after proper tests have been done on multi-core machines.
- Fix: The flight plan page was not displaying the correct altitudes information[4][5].
- Fix: An obscure bug in the loading of airways, (thanks George for the report!).
- Fix: Cached files don't have to have a .pdat extension.
- Fix: _Not_ loading map outlines and trying to change colours would cause a crash.
