Version 4.0.0.177 - April 1, 2009.

  • Added: Some tooltips.
  • Added: You can now set a default aircraft.
  • Added: The target altitude can now be set.
  • Added: An option page for flight planning.
    • Set the Straight final/take-off altitude
    • Turn flight following on/off by default.
  • Change: Error message when there is no valid aircraft/airport.
  • Change: Flight following is disabled by default.
  • Fix: The target altitude was not saved in the flight plans.
  • Fix: When a plan was loaded in Flight Simulator the plan was not loaded properly in Courseplanner.

Version 4.0.0.174 - March 27, 2009.

  • Added: A toolbar button to enable/disable flight following. (Ctrl+X)
  • Added: An icon to display waypoints where we will be pausing.
  • Change: The current point the aircrafts is flying to has a more 'visible' background.
  • Change: Updated the wording on the Flight planner dialog box [1].
  • Change: Removed the 'Zoom' size from the Flight planner -> Select dialog box

  • Change: It is now possible to open/save flight plans in FS2004[2](9 and 9.1)/FSX[3] and Courseplanner.
  • Change: The flight plan format chosen is now saved when you open/save a flight plan.
  • Change: Added more text to description of waypoints[4], (Top of climb, Straight Final, etc.)
  • Change: Loading time has been improved a tiny bit.
  • Fix: If the departure runway was not found the 'default' destination was substituted instead.
  • Fix: In some cases, (VISTA?), FS9[2] would crash on exit.
  • Fix: In some cases, Courseplanner would crash when FS9[2] or FSX[3] would start -> stop -> re-start.
  • Fix: The default colors for user aircraft and AI aircraft were swapped, (you can always reset the default aircraft colors Tools->Options->Display->Colors->Default).
  • Fix: When selecting 'retry' in the network option courseplanner would alway try to reconnect to FSX, (regardless of the chosen version).

  • Added: You can now set the color of certain/most(?) objects on the map.
  • Added: You can now import the aircraft from fs9.
  • Change: New version of data, (navaid and airports).
  • Change: the "Log file, xxx, opened." from an error message type to success.
  • Fix: small typo in the registration reminder.

  • Change: Added support for FS2004/FS9
  • Fix: The servers were ignoring the selected port number.

Version 4.0.0.138 - Feb 3, 2009.

  • Change: Added a menu option to directly load and move the aircraft into FS.
  • Change: You can now 'Pause' when you reach a waypoint, (Flight Plan/Flight Plan Details -> right-click).
  • Change: You can now drag and replace the departure/destination airport.
  • Change: When you are Inserting/replacing a waypoint and have your current view Declutter the navaids will be shown, (declutter will temporarily be disabled).
  • Change: When flying a flight plan and the autopilot disengages, the controls are centered, (to prevent wild vertical/horizontal movements).
  • Change: It is now possible to import all the aircraft directly from flight simulator,(File -> Import -> FS Aircraft)
  • Change: Beta version expires after 30 days now, not 15.
  • Change: When flying a flight plan and you select to move the aircraft to another point the automatic 'fly to' will be set to the next waypoint.
  • Fix: Flight following was setting the wrong altitude, (and setting it on the ground!)
  • Fix: Flight planner was getting the wrong target altitude in some cases.
  • Fix: Invalid characters ('&'), were been displayed on some menus, (flight plan).
  • Fix: Flight plan menu was not always displaying properly, (when a flight plan was loaded).
  • Fix: Loading flight plan would cause the same message to appear twice, (or a 'temp' flight plan to be loaded).
  • Fix: Closing FS now resets the automatic flight controller. (cosmetic).
  • Fix: Replacing a waypoint with another could, sometimes, cause a crash.
  • Fix: In some cases some Sim objects that are removed by Flight simulator would still be displayed by Courseplanner.

Version 4.0.0.133 - Jan 16, 2009.

  • Change: About box now has some info about the Courseplanner Connection lib.
  • Fix: Sim objects were not been displayed properly, (radians vs degrees problem).
  • Fix: Courseplanner would loose connection with FSX forever when FSX closes then reopens.
  • Fix: Some objects were not removed from the view on FSX closing.
  • Fix: In some cases the network connection would fail.

Version 4.0.0.131 - Jan 14, 2009.

  • Change: Socket errors are now only logged once, (on the log page).
  • Change: More network log errors.
  • Fix: Ping in the network would report an error and then that everything was ok...).
  • Fix: Network retry now also closes the connection before re-opening it.
  • Fix: The update was always reporting a new version, (properly this time).

Version 4.0.0.117 - Jan 13, 2009.

  • Added: Network support, (See:Courseplanner Options Network)
  • Added: Log page, (after the profile tab). Some basic log entries have been added, more will be added later.
  • Added: DLL for networked flight simulator.
  • Changed: Images from 4 bit to 24 bit.
  • Fix: The update was always reporting a new version.

Version 4.0.0.103 - Dec 30, 2008.

  • Removed: Unneeded Microsoft Redistributable.
  • Added: support for all 3 versions of Simconnect, (10.0.60905.0, 10.0.61242.0 and 10.0.61259.0).
  • Added: The install app now deletes all the cached worldmap data if selected.
  • Change: Courseplanner can now run even if FSX is not installed.
