Select what you want to display

Contents

Global

You can select to display some global values.

  • Display a latitude[1]/longitude[2] grid over the map. The grid will also contains numbers as a information.
  • Always load data at startup: Although you can select the option not to display certain data, (airport, navaids and so on), you still need to be able to reference the data, (for flight plans or search).

With this option checked the data will be loaded at start-up even if you choose not to display it on your map. This option is recommended.

Data

Airports

  • Display all the airport, Heliports and water landing areas.
    • Display all the SID[3]/STAR[4] where available.

Nav aids

  • The VORs[5] and their IDs
  • The NDBs[6] and their IDs
  • Show the markers[7], (Outer Marker, Middle Marker, ...)
  • Show the localizers, (ILS[8], Glide slopes, ...)

Fixes/GPS points

  • Draw all the Fixes
  • Draw the User defined GPS points.

Airway

  • Show the high/low altitude airways[9].
  • Quality, because drawing the airways can be CPU intensive you can choose a low quality drawing for the airways or, if you have a more powerful computer, draw the airways in high quality. In practice the difference is minimal and is only cosmetic.
